The Kindness of Children

Today was the last day of school here for a child in our class. Prior to moving, the kids sent him off with many gifts and kind gestures. Overhead during the morning: "They are all being so nice to me!" Another child asks, "Can you stay forever?" We promise to keep in touch, as another child asked, "Can we Tweet with him?" A poignant reminder of the Kindess of Children.

Many thanks to Mrs. Stoufer from a Florida public school for connecting with us via Skype to talk about Global Goal # 6 Clean Water & Sanitation. She read The Water Princess, which prompted many questions about water availability and/or abundance. We will be working with their classroom to possibly help solve problems as they relate to this Global Goal.
