More Writing Pattern Books, Number Rack, and a Few More Leaves

Many thanks to Samantha for leading another Writing Workshop today, building upon kid's work with pattern books beginning with "A ......." . An example of a pattern book, which she read today as a mentor text, is here. Both "A" and "I" are the first site words that kids are practicing, one of which ais incorporated into their books. In addition to growing more familiar with a number rack and numeral writing, a few kids finished up leaf rubbings and subsequent vein counts.
