Today!

The rain held off for our work in the trees and instead of sit-spots, we tried stand-spots to stay dry. Upon a first listening, kids identified a crow in the tree by the school. Before we knew it, there were 4 in the meadow behind us! Another reason why pausing to listen and notice is ever important outside. More photos here.

Kids made there own number racks with beads and chenille stems (formerly pipe cleaners), while the calendar revealed new 2D and 3D shapes. This song has been played a few times as the new shapes emerge:


We finished off the day with Reading Buddies!
