Day 47

Happy Wilderness Wednesday! With a mix of sunny skies and a short spurt of rain, we were lucky enough to see a beautiful rainbow this afternoon! We were just in time to see it when we came back outside after lunch and recess. We celebrated the sighting of the rainbow by singing "Somewhere Over the Rainbow" as a whole group.

Earlier in the day, we enjoyed a rain-free Wilderness Wednesday by playing soccer, climbing trees, saving life on land, doing a group sun salutation and much more! After we saw the vibrant rainbow in the afternoon, we split up into 4 different stations. The group that was with Mr. Deyo and Ms. Caylee participated in a nature scavenger hunt up on the hill and then played in the vines.

To cap off our Wednesday outside we took a few moments to have private reasoning time in our sit spots, so that we could reflect on all the things we did today. We then went inside and wrote our reflections from the day in our science journals. Some of our kindergartners even had the opportunity to share their work with the class before heading home! Here are all the pictures from our wonderful day!
