The Black-capped Chickadee was introduced today, along with a bit more measurement of length (long vs. short). The song of the Chickadee was used as the transitional song and method for gaining the groups' attention too. We also used non-standard measurement to demonstrate the length of a typical chickadee's wingspan (8 1/2 unifix cubes).
Kids wrote more in their Show and Tell books about a special place, a few kids learned a new coding program called Kodable, and they were able to go out at least once for recess! More photos here.
