Today, Global Goal for Sustainability #15 was introduced: Life on Land. This goal will be a guiding concept for our work here in the classroom, in the woods, and hopefully in our lives outside of school. We made our first two pieces of paper from recycled scraps, "trash detectives" picked up waste on the playground, and we had a long discussion about the importance of trees again. Here are the children's thoughts:
