AB Patterns, A Cool Day in the Trees, and Reading Buddies

Today we began working more closely with AB patterns and will delve into ABC patterns tomorrow. There are lots of examples in today's photos, including this one (many are in Seesaw as well):

We also spent quite some time outside in the cool Fall temperatures noticing changes, listening, playing, hiking, building, and collecting sticks for "days of school" bundles.  We wrapped up the day in Mr. Lake's class for Reading Buddies!

One final note, we will be partnering with a Kindergarten in Florida to discuss and act upon ways to conserve water. We identified two common ways to save water at school and at home (turning the water off when scrubbing hands with soap and while brushing teeth). We also watched this video to begin efforts to conserve paper towel as well!
