Lots of lovely math talk was underway today as Samantha led a full group session about subitizing regular and irregular 5 frames (well done Samantha!). Work Places were abuzz as the caps you sent in continue to be used for patterns in a more permanent display for the hall, amongst many other options.

We read the 4th book in the Global Read Aloud, Hattie and the Fox by Mem Fox in anticipation of another Skype session with the Kindergartners from Winnepeg. Also, Writing Workshop focused on Global Goal Number 6, which is the springboard for conversations about water conservation and availability with a Kindergarten in Florida on Friday.
