Today in Kindergarten

Hello everyone! It was another beautiful day, ripe for pounding leaves and much more in the trees! Kids practiced the letter S, worked in think/pair/share groups to find patterns in the calendar,  and found "hidden partners" while composing the number five in a 5 frame in various way (examples are 4 and 1- four fingers on one hand, 1 on another, together make 5. Also 3 and 2). In addition, they sang "Peace Like a River" which was recorded for the upcoming Williston Community Peace Project opening this Wednesday at Dorothy Ailing Library at 5:30. Much more in today's photos!
