After a obstacle course meant to support following the "group plan" in Guidance, kids continued working on their narratives with a beginning, middle, and end. During Reading workshop, kids started "tapping out" each word (one tap for each word in the text). In math, more work with numeral and math sentence writing, along with an introduction to subtraction, were the predominant concepts practiced prior to Work Places.
