Wind! Maddi's Fridge (Thanks to @vermontkkids123 ) #teachsdgs

A mighty wind joined the January thaw today, so we spent a shortened time outside early this morning. As I write, much of the snow that kids were sledding on has melted .😞

Today we read Maddi's Fridge as a follow-up to our visit from Sally yesterday (from the Williston Community Food Shelf). Many thanks to Mrs. Davison for lending us the book. This directly connects to Global Goal #2, which we will continue to pursue alongside Mrs. Davison's class.

In Math, some BIG WORDS were introduced: "Compose" and "Number Tree" .

We also celebrated filling the Buzzy Jar with "Toy Day". Each child had a chance to introduce the toy they brought and play together! Also, we hung the paper chain in the room, it is so long! Stop in to check it out when you have time!  More photos here.
