Kids compared the length of one piece of twine (15 unifix cubes long) with 42 of the sticks we have found in the woods. The twine was shorter 29 times and it was longer 12 times (1 time it was the same). 29>12. To further reinforce this, we watched a women’s long jump event to compare length. Also, in addition to lots of story writing (and reading), we read Frida together to continue Women’s History Month conversations.
