Shapes, Pattern Books Revisited, and Writing (Digital and Analog)

As the snow fell all day and birds stopped by for a snack at our window feeder, we revisited a couple of topics from earlier in the year. The first was some work with shapes, led by Samantha. She organized a lesson from Bridges that re-introduces the many shapes we have investigated to add depth of understanding.

She also led a session that revisited pattern books and searching for clues to help read smoothly.  Lastly, the entire group worked on story writing either on paper or using the Book Creator app. A few photos are here.
