Here are some photos and a video from the past two days!
We started a project on Wednesday as part of our focus surrounding Life on Land in Spring. We started by taking recycled paper and making it into new paper. We then pressed basil seeds into the paper. Tomorrow, each child will get a piece of the paper with basil seeds, write a wish, and plant this in a little pot and soil. Children will take their finished product home tomorrow! The other big highlight in Kindergarten was a visit from an Americorps volunteer to learn about Spring Birds. We learned more about certain birds we will most likely be able to see and then went outside to explore with binoculars! Today, we spent a lot of time outside to make up for the weather earlier in the week.
