Day 52

Happy Wilderness Wednesday families! Thank you for sending all the warm gear needed to keep us comfortable while we were exploring outside today. We were lucky enough to spend the whole morning playing in the left over snow! Children were using items found in nature to try to break through the ice of the puddles, some used sleds down the hill behind our classrooms, other children slid across the ice on their knees to see how far they could go and so much more.

After lunch, we came outside to split into groups that would each travel to two stations. One group played an alphabet game with Ms. Naomi, another played a busy bee game with Ms. Carly, one group worked with Mrs.Gordon to learn more about following the group plan and the last group hiked up to the hill with Mr. Deyo and Ms. Caylee for a nature scavenger hunt. Following our last endeavor outside for this Wednesday, we had snack inside followed by time to reflect and write in our science journals about what we did today. Here are more pictures from both day 51 and 52!
