Today we welcomed a new child to our classroom! There were so many offers of support and kindness today, true empathy. We practiced a new sight word, "you", and kids began writing pattern books. In math, we talked more about addition and subtraction (video below), voted for the next buzzie party (this Thursday, "Show and Tell Day"), began making an extension of the paper chain, and introduced a new subitizing game!
