#GRA17 Book #2, Leaves in Math, Handwriting Grip

Thanks again for sending in leaves, our collection continues to grow and a small group sorted them today by looking closely!

We read the second book in the Global Read Aloud sequence by author Mem Fox. Possum Magic inspired drawings of animals from the book in practice for an upcoming Mystery Animal Skype game with the Kindergarten in Winnipeg on Friday. This followed a visit from Chelsea Tedder, our school’s Occupational Therapist. I asked her to be our visiting expert on handwriting grip (which she is) and she shared this video and some tips for the group. More photos and videos here!
