Kelso, Cardboard, and Labels
Many thanks to Ms. S. for joining us again to talk about Kelso's Choice for problem solving! Each child will have their own wheel of choices to take home next week. In the meantime, some of the problem solving strategies roll played and discussed today were "Talk it Out", "Make a Deal", "Tell Them to Stop", and "Ignore it".
The cardboard projects continue to grow, which can be seen in today's photos. We read the book What Do You Do With A Problem by Kobi Yamada after a rocky part of the morning. It really seemed to help find the good in the problem that had evolved (cleaning up unsafely and less responsibly) and reset all of us. Later kids worked on making books to share information about animals with labels for our upcoming Mystery Animal Skype.
