Opinions about Leafy, Counting Sticks, Bingo, and Bowling

We stayed in this morning because the wind chill was below zero. A solid crowd went to the gym while the rest stayed in the room to play. Afterward, kids signed in with more opinion related language and shared why they liked Leafy. Later, they wrote full page sentences with their opinions! We also finished counting the sticks brought back from the woods (138!) after making more predictions with the information gleaned from yesterday's initial count (40). We used a number line to support thinking, pairing, and sharing with the group. Lastly, for Work Places, a couple of groups played different bingo games, while a larger group bowled and added together their scores. Photos here!
